"I have had the incredible opportunity of working side by side with Laura in the mental health field, with children in their homes and in the community. Laura establishes trusting relationships with children and their families, which is the building block for any ABA services. She is knowledgeable about implementing interventions to change behaviors and in teaching important skills to the children that she works with. She is able to successfully coach parents in evidence-based ABA skills to improve the lives of their children. Laura is enthusiastic and energetic in her approach to working with children. She is open to others’ ideas and sensitive to their individual needs. Working with Laura was a pleasurable and positive experience.”

"I've been working as an ABA therapist for the past 6 years. I have worked with mulitple BCBAs, however working with Laura was amazing. She jumped right into the case and helped me along with answering every questions I had. She took the time to explain things to me. I knew right away that she really cares for the clients and will do anything she can to make a difference with them and their families."

"Laura was my son Zach’s Kindergarten, 1st , and 2nd grade teacher. Zach
was born with a rare syndrome called Sotos Syndrome. All children with
Sotos Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disabilities, most
are on the Autism Spectrum, and some have significant health conditions as well. Zach had all three challenges. At the time Zach was in Laura’s class, there was very little information available to us about
Sotos Syndrome, so doctors told us to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Although Zach had an Autism diagnosis and an intellectual disability, the school district insisted Zach be placed in a Life Skills classroom. I believed this was the wrong placement for him, but
Laura was the right teacher.
Our primary challenge was behaviors. Often, we did not understand the triggers. For example, Zach loved the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem, each morning he would stand for the playing over the
intercom, hand over heart, and as soon as it was over, he would walk over to one of the Paraprofessionals and hit her. We never knew why,
he just did. There were various sensory and transition issues
throughout the day that would set Zach off, often with no warning. Laura never shied away from the challenge. At the time ABA was just gaining traction in society but was not a methodology used in a Life
Skills classroom. Laura naturally had the mindset. She implemented her
own ABA program with Zach and over the three years in her classroom,
his behaviors steadily improved. By the time he entered the third grade, he had virtually no behaviors in school. Eventually we were able to remove the TSS from the school setting and use the hours at home where we continued to experience behaviors.
Today Zach has graduated High School. He can read and write and is a
happy, healthy young adult. He still has intellectual challenges and
limiting medical conditions, but no more behavioral issues. We are
forever grateful to Laura for what she did for our family.
I would recommend Laura to any family in need of a hard-working dedicated problem solver to help them reach their child, what she did
for our family was priceless!

"Laura worked with my daughter Hope. She is an excellent BCBA. She is not only an experienced BCBA through her education but she has very important personal skills such as good listening skills, respectful, dedicated to her work, confident, loving, etc. She was always following up with my daughter's progress and updating new goals. My daughter loved her the firt time they met. I am so grateful for everything she has done for Hope and my family. She is just amazing!"

"Laura is incredibly knowledgeable in ABA, especially with naive learners. She has an incredible amount of patience when teaching staff and it shows her passion for the field. Laura gets results. I have seen her change the lives of clients with her ability to get a child to do thigs no one else has been able to do and without extensive pairing!
Laura can back up all her programming choices with science. She loves ABA in a way, I have never, in my six years in the field, experienced with another BCBA. Parents and staff love her because they recognize all these strengths in her."
